Founders Note #4

When we first built this tech, it wasn’t for meetings.

It was for music.

We needed musicians to play duets online, without the awkward start/stop, without voices or instruments cutting each other off. That meant designing audio so both tracks could pass through at the same time, naturally.

What surprised us was how powerful this became outside of music.

Because the truth is, most meeting platforms don’t let people actually talk like people.

They force conversations into a turn-taking game. One person speaks, the other gets clipped. Energy drops. Ideas stall.

With
Hiyve.io, we flipped that.

You can interrupt. Laugh over each other. Build momentum in real time. The way conversations were meant to flow.

It seems small, but it makes meetings feel less like software… and more like real human connection.

💬 Are you tired of the stop-go feeling of most video calls?
